Book Nook for May

Book Nook for May will be held May 22 at 7 p.m. at Nikki's home. The book is titled The Uses of Adversity by Carlfred Broderick. Many of you who may not have come to Book Nook before might want to try this one. I chose it because it is very short and interesting. If you have a young woman in your house, or have younger daughters or grand daughters or your own adult daughters, you will like this book. It's only 58 pages long and the book is small, so you can actually finish it in one or two sittings. I'm dying to make those cute little layered sandwiches that sometimes have colored edges like pink or blue. My mom used to have those at her own literary club. Even if you don't like to read, come and join us! Nikki has one book to borrow out, and amazon.com has it, and the library may have it.
